Trecena ↠13-Day Forecast: The Judge (T’zi) I Mayan Calendar

The new trecena, or 13-day forecast, of the Mayan Calendar comes in the sign of the The Judge (T’zi). T’zi is the last sign on the sacred calendar, showing it’s maturity and importance for the community. This day-sign signifies judgement (as in the sacred judge between heaven and earth), doing things the correct way, settling financial issues or legal paperwork, uncovering things, working for humanity and the highest good of the community.

As the oldest sign of the calendar T’zi can become quite serious, even though the associated animal is the dog, which is a loyal and playful companion. So in these 13 days, it’s important to keep the balance between play and taking things seriously, between looking deeply into the subjects to find out the truth, yet keeping a light-hearted attitude about what to do with the uncovered wisdom.

Not every person that uncovers a deep truth or sees shadows is called to act upon them. Sometimes realising and understanding the bigger picture that’s playing out and how it affects us, is enough to make changes on a personal level. Tz’i is also related to the emotional body, and therefore balance in emotions is important in the next 13 days.

To do so, creative activities are helpful to channel unprocessed emotions into art, physical activity allows to discharge energy that’s a surplus, and meditation allows the mind to settle to connect with the deeper truth on a personal level.

Note: One thing to be aware of is, since this sign calls for true authority, to not become authoritarian.

Applied Wisdom of Tz’i

The ultimate judge, the playful dog, and the loyal companion have all one thing in common: they love humans. They desire only goodness for their protectees. Nothing matters more to them than harmony in the greater whole, humankind, animals, nature, and the earth.

However, change can only come, when we are in the highest vibration and see the bigger picture, such as through inspiration and Joy, creative energy coupled with action. The influence of Tz’i therefore is as subtle as the tones a dog can hear. Meaning, that even something entirely unrelated to the state of the world, such as painting a painting, can have subtle but significant impact on the world at large when done with love.

So the wisdom of Tz’i asks us to see the world with open eyes, but continue on our elevated path taking care of ourselves and wellbeing to stay Joyful, while also asking for solutions for the greater whole (in prayer or our creative pursuits), so that harmony is restored.
