This new trecena of 13-days in the Sacred Mayan Calendar comes in the sign of the Sacred Fire (Toj). The Sacred Fire is at the heart of the community, it’s the energy that brings the community together, purifies any grudges or lower vibrational energies, and gives strength and power to everyones purpose.
See it as a 13-day period of connecting with the people that energize you, come together with positive intentions, support each other in your highest expression, and get rid of anything that might be in the way to love and togetherness.
The Sacred Fire also stands for the sacred fire within, the Soul fire, the spark, the passion. So use this time to connect with what you are passionate about, seek support from people who have walked the path before you, or visit a shamanic fire ceremony or a temazcal to purify body, mind, and spirit.
Offerings and Right Payments
In the Mayan and indigenous traditions, offerings are regularly made to the earth, the elements, and spirit to be able to receive in return. Everything is cyclical and therefore when we give, we open the doors to receive.
The Sacred Fire sign also speaks of correct payments, offerings, and setting things right. It’s a good time to balance the scales, be it on a spiritual or on a material level. If you ask a lot from spirit, but don’t make offerings, try to give before you ask. If you want to ask for a raise at your job or look for a job that honors your expertise more and pays you accordingly, this is a good time.
If you work for the collective and support better pay for everyone through Union actions, in HR, amendments of laws, or a similar influencial role, theses 13 days are perfect to bring these benefits into motion.
