About Me
Hi, I’m Anne (aka Anna SOFIA) – life coach, energy healer, somatics & embodiment teacher, writer and DJ. I started with yoga 20 years ago, took a training in the Himalayas in 2013, and a bunch of others in Europe and India over the years.
Further courses in shamanism, kinesiology, bodywork, relationship, life and business coaching, as well as Vedic and Mayan astrology followed and many years in Asia and Central America.
Influencial were two years at a holy cave in the Himalayas attending lots of “pujas” and sitting with an ancient sage, who slept outside at 0°, cooked food over the fire, and walked barefoot in winter and summer.
After that, I published “A Simple Book For A Simple Life – An Oracle from the Himalayan Sages“, with short messages that came through in meditation. They work like an oracle, open any page and you get the answer you need.
While in Central America I dove into the Mayan Calendar, feminine leadership, and community building, and visited many temples off the beaten path. It overthrew a lot of the “Eastern wisdom” I had followed without questioning and challenged me to take on new perspectives.
My Approach
I work with dance, music, and embodiment. Everything is connected and that’s how a I treat it. What I find works best in coaching and 1:1 sessions is a comination of engaging body, mind, and spirit to find true ease in a light-hearted and playful way. The higher the vibration, the better the solutions. So by bringing in movement and light-hearted questioning to reframe or re-envision stuck situations, engaging the right and left brain to understand but also to feel, see, and sense from an intuitive perspective, things can shift pretty fast. Nobody is an island and in that way, also the head, the heart, the soul, and the body are no islands.

Over the years, I’ve lead retreats and trainings in the Sahara desert, India, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Thailand, online, and have given workshops, 1:1 sessions, courses, on Insight Timer, Bali Spirit Festival, Xperience Festival, Baltic Tantra Festival, Boom Festival and Agape Zoe.
